Only thing I like about the internet is forums, like Era. Sure, there is tons of valuable information on the internet, like Wikipedia, but it seems like most people don't spend their time learning. Most people mindlessly scroll through social media apps, like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc and feel the need to share their opinions, no matter how uneducated, crude and pointless. In the grand scheme of things, the internet has created so much connectedness throughout the world, and that's a great thing for human knowledge and understanding. Though, it has also created many obviously terrible things, like online racial hate groups, pornography, black markets, etc. I am pretty pessimistic regarding the modern day internet, and I only see human culture going downhill from here
