It was certainly GAF tradition to post in every thread about a Forbes op-ed about videogames "forbes CONTRIBUTOR, not Forbes", and I doubt thats changed on era

I think some did just that in the thread about their article on Star Citizen (which was ostensibly not an article by a contributor but from the actual magazine).

What does her being black or a woman have to do with it?
White people get to break small (and sometimes large) rules all the time without society dictating to them that they should play by the rules regardless of impact or circumstance.

Maybe minorities should start being as petty. We have phones too.

:dunno

a) maybe think a little harder about your implicit statement that 'black people' don't post videos of 'white people' breaking rules of their job to twitter. Because I'm sure you can think of an example. Or a fucking hashtag devoted solely to it.
b) Maybe answer the question instead of deflecting with a whataboutism - which, you know, people on restera get actioned for disingenous bad faith whataboutism. Pretty sure you've done that yourself, as a moderator!

The cherry on top is that the woman filming her is from the middle east. So this was a minority being petty.

Not only here, but many online places I have seen people criticize, complain, downplay how amazing dating apps are.

Lets go over some of the postives.

It allows women more time to become comfortable with someone before meeting up and gives women more agency
People with less time to go out and mingle like students during midterms or finals can spend a few minutes swiping rather than spending the time getting ready, finding people to go out with, finding a place to mingle and spending what little money they as students have at a pub
Which leads us to a big positive which is saving money
You get to meet people you would have no way of meeting without the app whether it be people without the time to socialize or people a town over
It can help those with social anxiety get out of their bubble and work on their dating game
Plus many more. Dating apps are a godsend and should be held up as such. Sure, Tinder and other apps are plagued with bots etc if youre a mindless swiper. But getting mad you were ghosted, turned down, or youre just super angry about your experience goes to show more about why your matches turned you down rather than why the apps are bad. You would not have done any better without the app because it is you yourself thats the reason you're getting turned down. Rather than complain and get angry, learn some introspection and work on yourself until you're valuable to someone somewhere.

Good luck 🙏.

Rikku is underage in FFX. So..
Let's examine this

Ages as follows:

Tidus - Age 17

Yuna - Age 17

Wakka - Age 23

Auron - Age 35

Rikku - Age 15

Kimahri - Age 25

Lulu - Age 22

Seymour - Age 28

Tidus, yuna and rikku are all underage by your statement. I see nothing wrong with Tidus going for any of the ladies as he's 17 by your statement.

Also this is the world of Spira, i don't think that the law age applies there (As most of the world just seems to follow the laws of yevon anyhow) .

I can understand if was a representation of Japan or the world as a whole with different laws to address this, but In a Final fantasy game, i think this is one of the games where these norms and laws just fly out the window as they dont apply.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

This is an accepted antisemitic dog whistle and has been for a long time, even among those highly critical of the Israeli government.  And it doesn't even get a warning.

Great progressive forum you got there.

You don't understand. A Hamas catchphrase could never be as anti-semitic as the ok sign or Pepe the frog

The Midgar arc of Final Fantasy VII is already a story that is divided in a three-part structure, with a central conflict and a central antagonist (Avalanche vs Shinra). The story touches upon environmentalism, terrorism, fascism, poverty, loss, crime, corruption and the intersection of all these things. This is true not just of the Midgar arc, but of the whole game. If a writer wanted to expand the Midgar arc from a 7-hour playtime to, say, a 30-hour playtime (for the main story), they could easily do that by expanding on existing scenes and by creating new ones.

imagine playing FFXV or KH3 and thinking FF7:R is going to be the vidya equivalent of Hannibal or Fargo the TV show, and not - at fucking best - Star Trek Discovery

Dumb that he feels that way? Trump and the Republicans are hurting millions of people daily (“the cruelty is the point”), it sucks knowing that someone who’s brought so much joy to peoples’ lives (even just as the voice of a cartoon bear) is an active cheerleader for that.

He won’t get blacklisted or anything but you don’t need to be a rapist for someone to think you’re trash.

Who gives a shit about the lack of women. Let's talk about the numerous Goku's and them not buffing Beerus or making "gimmick" characters like him good in a game full of KAMEHAMEHA!!!!! spam-beam attacks.

These are just examples from a guy on a forum. Any paid professionnal writer who is tasked with fleshing out the game's world to make the story longer can easily do it, and can do it right. It's been done before elsewhere, and there's nothing stopping it from happening here.

Your fans were so preoccupied with whether or not you could, they didn't stop to think if you should etc etc oh and I see someone posted it over there too.

Quote from: OP
And from a narrative perspective, ending Part 1 at when our party decides to leave Midgar to pursue Sephiroth just makes so much sense. Everything that happens in Midgard is its own story with its own conclusion. If it were a TV show, it would mark the end of the first season

But it's not a TV show.

I mean I don't have strong opinions on FF7 and I guess that in theory you could flesh out the story but it all reads like mistaking bloat for density & wishful thinking (like this guy who thinks Midgard will be fully explorable because... there's a 3D render ?)

KH3 was so mind numbingly bad that I regretted ever playing the 1st and 2nd games and the $8 I spent Redboxing it. Even just from the trailer you can tell FF7’s going to be woefully disappointing. At best it’ll have a flashy combat system and good music.
