As I said, that I went on it four times (once as gunner and THREE TIMES as engineer), but it can be a lot better. There are seveal problems that can take away your enjoyment of this ride.This leads to less fun than it can be and sometimes yelling at complete strangers to hurry and press those buttons. It's the most boring task and sadly, is the one I had to do three times. It makes it so I'm actually jealous of two other people on the ride who are having more fun than me.

Ugh I'm visiting my Italian family right now and while they are left leaning, the amount of trash tv they consume is mindboggling. The tv plays at lunch where we watch court room reality shows intermixed with gossip, then dinner we watch either an italian funniest home videos or a show called ciao darwin where its always team A vs team B. Today it was body/hedonism vs spirituality. All the while naked ladies are put center stage while guys act like idiots. Today they literally had a food grossout challenge where all the food was from Asia or Africa, and the "waiters" presenting the Chinese and Thai dishes were the same guys just with different names.

Sometimes there's dance shows, where my family usually calls any male dancers froci or finocchi in a "funny" way (italian slurs for gay people) and acts scandalized if a person has a tattoo or is in anyway open about their non-normative sexuality. And these are the good days. God forbid we stumble upon a politics talk show where immigrants or muslims are involved, that is usually given the response "don't they have their own homes?". I love them so much, but God, Italy is toxic as hell and only getting worse.

The sad thing is that they watch so much tv because my cousin has a mental disability and likes to have the tv on at all times, bless her, she just likes to hear and see the noise and doesn't actually pay attention to the content.

It's interesting enough for me to give it a try, and if developers really can utilize the processing power of an entire server farm when developing their games it could lead to some interesting innovation.

That is what I want to see from cloud streaming processing. Show me something that just can’t be run locally on consumer hardware. Like give me a GTA where every npc is unique, has a schedule, has AI that remembers you, follows their own life simulations (food, water, entertainment etc), in a city that has full interiors you can enter, buildings can be destroyed based on actual structural engineering stress points (like red faction guerrila x10000), AI directors alter the missions / storyline on the fly based on your actions / friendships / rampages. Basically something that would run at like .5fps being processed locally on 1 piece of hardware.

Instead were being shown shit that is already better run locally and couldn’t even stand up to arcade hardware from 1984 if measured by button press to pixel moves timing. This awesome streaming future can’t currently even play a game of donkey kong properly...... oh boy can’t wait!

The other advantage is obviously the ubiquity of Chrome, being able to play the same game on phone/tv/laptop seamlessly sounds super cool. Being able to do multiplayer with one person on the laptop and the other on the TV sounds super cool too. I just don't know if that alone is worth having no physical access to the game. Hell, I still buy most of my games on disc or cart for god's sake I'm a luddite.

I'm really interested in Stadia because of this.
