The superhero craze has gone from weird to background noise and now back to weird again. I can't believe how much time grown adults spend discussing this shit and how much money is tied up in it all.
Look at the 'which media company owns spandex-man now' thread in comparison to any of the threads on serious issues they pretend to care about and the difference is staggering. Nearly 4,000 comments in under 24 hours, all of which is completely inconsequential nonsense.
I guess I'm just one of those old, out-of-touch folks that don't 'get' things any more. It's a frustrating and bewildering feeling, but I'm sure it'll pass.
Dude. I went to see End Game and I was chatty with this couple before the movie. There's this annoying ass blue character who is always a waste of space that betrays them. I hate her and at one point I scoffed when she was on screen. "Waste of a character", I mumbled. That's all I said, she was so MAD. You might think she was mad because I was talking during the movie but that's all I said out loud
I could tell they were MCU superfans and she in particular was a fan of all the female characters. She shot death eyes at me again when I laughed as Captain Marvel came out of nowhere after not being around the entire movie too. At the end of the movie she grumpingly got up and was like,"how dare you for not supporting the female characters, you are a woman" and left.
