These distinctions seem like they are only useful as food for thought.
These distinctions are largely only useful for arguing pointlessly on Twitter and having the opportunity to tell people that you’re just. so. tired.
Drag a lot of this stuff out into the light and it just ties itself up in bullshit knots.
Especially since a lot of the norms being "challenged", are really just relatively recent cultural norms that keep shifting around.
In the 17 hundreds men wore make up, wigs and walked on heels, but they weren't necessarily "non-binary".
So i don't see why you'd need a specific gender definition, if you like to dress and carry yourself slightly outside of the cultural norm.
Again, it just seems incredibly pointless labeling taking away individuality from what is supposed to be a celebration of diversity and individuality.
The answer to restricting labels, can't be "more labels".
