So we’re supposed to act like upending our current system is practical? I could see the argument that the socialist approach is better, but it just seems almost impossible to implement within our current system.

It would be ugly, not very functional, expensive and identical to every other house in the suburb. This would be the most inefficient use of public money and would lead to so many unintended issues.

Who gets to live in the "good" neighbourhoods? Who makes the decision about where I get to live? I certainly don't want some public servant making that determination for me. What if I want to improve my house? Am I allowed to do that? If I am a single person, does that mean I can only have a one bedroom studio? What if I prefer more space?
