BTW, ERA is far more Sony-slanted than even this poll would suggest.  If we were to accurately poll Era (i.e, not the poll that's currently running), you'd be probably looking at around a 60/30/10 split for Sony/Nintendo/Xbox respectively.

Do they really want Trump? Cause they will get 4 more years of Trump... how's that better than Bernie? or even Biden?

4 more years of trump gives them 4 more years to be miserable on era. If bernie (or another dem) comes in and creates a tangible positive improvement to the US then what will they do all day?

Forget this dude. I would have offered to drop a burrito off to you if you were cool with it, maybe throw together a surprise cheesy you have a cold gift bag, and rescheduled.

Even if things didn't work out I'd be happy to create a cool memory for you and to be honest I love women, as friends, people, etc. Rather chill with women then guys, etc.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Any average woman getting a "surprise cheesy you have a cold gift bag" from someone they've never even met would be instantly blocking your clingy stalkery ass and maybe even calling the cops.

There's a reason women don't give out their phone numbers or addresses over apps.

It's a well known fact that Americans by a large percent don't travel abroad. Part or most of the reason for that is North American continent being an ocean away from most popular destinations so flights out of the country usually start at $800 unlike Europeans and Asians who can fly around to the best spots for much cheaper.

Well now the credit agency Affirm allows you to make a 3,6, or 12 month payment plan for your trip. several sites offer the Affirm payment option after you pick your flight. I use this one,

He just recently posted he is 20-30k in medical debt so he is leaving the country in July to avoid it.

Dude, no.

I can’t tell if this is a joke or if you’re being serious, but why would someone go though the trouble of doing this elaborate gesture for a person they haven’t even met? Seems like a recipe for disaster.

Comes off as super clingy and not the way to go about online dating, if a dude I was reaching out to about going on a date offered to do something along those lines, that would be a no from me and a red flag.

I would ask for at least a number after about 5 messages.  If they gave me a line like "I need to get to know you better" I would just cut it off, because that's a sign that they are either

Using the app for attention/ego boost
In a relationship
A flake that will never actually meet up
etc etc and so on

I got a lot more "successful" (ie, getting laid) from dating sites once I stopped taking them so seriously.

People on GAF/REEE get so incredibly overinvested it's sick.  Just because someone messages you back (even multiple times) it doesn't mean anything.

Nintendo has too many failed systems to have a loyal fan base.

Even with the Wii Uuuuuu being such a failure, there was still very much a fanbase there, based on top software sales.

Mario Kart 8 - 8.44 million
Super Mario 3D World - 5.83 million
New Super Mario Bros. - 5.79 million
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - 5.37 million
Nintendo Land - 5.19 million
Splatoon - 4.94 million

Second, I reject the idea that an 18 year old girl should be able to consent to anything so heinous.  We draw this line at 18 years old, but that is a joke.  An 18 year old, particularly a girl, is not the equal of a man no matter what modern feminist fiction we want to pretend to believe.  She should be protected.  Actually, I would argue that females should remain under the protection and legal custody of their father, or a related older male if he is deceased, until such time as they are married.  I just won't agree that a bubble-headed girl can consent to be in pornography.  That idea is just meant to destroy society.

LOL, found another NeoGAF gold mine thread.

I got about 10 posts in before I tapped out.  I legit feel bad for any of these asshole's spouses/significant others.

Also that posts is someone who is obviously not a parent.  If you've ever had to deal with a 17-18 year old, you can't wait for them to leave, even if you love them.

You assume they have spouses/so's.

I feel bad for their coworkers.

You assume they work, I feel bad for their parents or whomever supplies their tendies.

Death Stranding has left me with a longing paternal feeling...

Quote
Is it because I've reached this stage of my life? Or has the game evoked this feeling across age boundaries? I'm interested to know.

To me, after completing the game It felt like I'd been cuddling someone I care deeply for for a long time. Just a really warm fuzzy feeling.

Obviously the game doesn't hide the role of the child: being played literally in a tug of war between Sam and Cliff whom they see as their rasion d'etre; being used as a tool to see the world through a younger generation's perspective; representing the key (Sam) to the world's salvation. It's a pretty strong symbol in Death Stranding.

Along with the environmentalism theme, it brings about a strong sensation of obligation. Has it just given me new perspective on responsibility? and by extension, a cathartic need to care for something?

Who else has felt a deep paternal/maternal feeling from Death Stranding?

rogan loves to go on and on about being a stand up comedian and all the details, but he's so mediocre  :lol like a great sports coach or analyst that was never all that good as a player in the sport they coach/analyze  :beli  :comeon rather see joe acting, but he says he hates it  :lol

People only know him for Fear Factor and UFC commentary (and his podcast I guess). That's it. Nobody knows him as a comedian. So he's basically the American Transhuman.

Nah, you're just approaching your message in a questionably aggressive manner- you're not being valiant or brave or something.

Not to mention you're speaking to Resetera, where the majority of us already feel this way. Go outside and speak to people with opposing views rather than being a keyboard braveheart.

So....uh I checked the OPs post history.

He just recently posted he is 20-30k in medical debt so he is leaving the country in July to avoid it.

Well that makes this thread make a whole lot more sense.

The biggest lie ever told is that voting is some sort of private, personal decision, voting is probably collectively the single act that most affects everyone around you. Voting out to be selfless not selfish.

Does Excel want to abolish voting booths?

yes you, person living in the deep red state

your bold and defiant act of voting which has no chance of changing anything and is primarily performative

that's the most effective thing you can do in your life

not volunteering, donating money, getting a job in a sector where you can help others

fuck that shit your ineffectual flailing in a booth is the greatest contribution you will ever have to society you piece of shit

Fuku had weird side-openings in her pants and Okatsu has no pants herself lol, but overall it's still pretty nice and tasteful and they aren't sexualized at all, the camera doesn't ogle them either or anything.
To be fair, traditional Japanese hakama always have those.

I have hakama myself haha. The openings aren't that wide normally and the shirts you'd wear would be long enough to hide the gaps. But as I said it's not a big deal at all, Fuku is fine really.

WHY
                     Is this cultural appropriation?

I had no idea who Joe Rogan is until the left painted a target on his back.

Then I started to watch him and didn't recognize he is the Fear Factor guy (which I watched like 15 years ago) :lol

So yeah, I think he is little known outside US even with his huge YT numbers.
In The Netherlands most people in his target audience (15 - 35) know who Joe Rogan is.
In fact, a lot of people know who Jordan Peterson, Alex Jones etc. are as well.

Compared to other European countries we do consume a lot of American media.
Much more than French or Germans.

There still a chance they may pull something from Japanese myth that'll be lady with cleavage.

Really, even if a folk tale or myth has any form of revealing outfit, it probably better to alt the original design to something fitting
. I remember Matpat (
The Game Theorists) making a video on the outfits on SMITE's female character and saying it ok since the original design was always revealing.
However, I think you can only go so far when the game doesn't really educate you on these gods when it just looks. I would also say Matpat also tried to defend the DOA outfits so he kinda pulling stuff out of his ass.

Correcting someone's grammar is racist, isn't it?
