That said, the likelihood of civilizations from other planets finding and interacting with us or vice versa is damn near nonexistent.  However, our mere existence on an individual level is the result of an infinite number of events occurring just right (from the perspective of us as individuals existing) and thus incredibly unlikely so it’s still possible if not remotely likely.
