Went out to run some errands tonight and yep, people have lost their fuckin' minds.
Wife wanted to go to Costco- told her it was probably not a good idea, but went along. The first thing we noticed is that there were no shopping carts outside anywhere. Already a sign to not bother going inside. The woman at the door had a counter to keep track of how many people they were letting in, lol. Saw a MASSIVE queue of people just lining up to leave and the line to wait for the checkout literally went all the way back to the other side of the store.

The entire aisle where toilet paper, paper towels, and water are located was cleaned out. The way people were running around inside the store and and leaving with stockpiles of shit (saw one guy in a mask, with shit strapped on) and especially the people outside, stumbling around in a daze looking for carts reminded me of a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie.
Went to the grocery store after this. Not as insane as Costco, but still similar in that all the carts were gone, indicating a packed store, and certain items were just cleaned out. Lots of people going for bottled water, bread, and pasta.
Then on the way home, stopped to get gas. The guy next to us was busy filling up multiple containers with gas and putting them in his trunk.

On the bright side, there was no traffic, lol. And the stores have got to be loving the all the sales they racking up right now.
