No, I logged one in this thread before that took over two weeks to get a duration, they then gave the guy "three weeks" which expired like two days later and he was back.

"Duration pending" bans are apparently only outward facing, there's a given duration in the system but others need to sign off on it before it appears publicly. Except there's nothing to alert anyone to it. I cannot confirm this, it was what I was told separately by two sources. This may in fact be the reason for the Mod Admiral system appearing to be real, a mod/admin who visits here takes action when we post them otherwise they'd just sit as pending. It does make me curious though as I'm at least 50/50 that we could find a "duration pending" somewhere that's never been updated.
