How much does the TV weigh?For a big TV like that, and with an articulation mount, I'd probably get a sheet of 1 inch plywood (maybe 2 feet wide), stain it so it looks nice, then lag screw it in between the nearest studs. Then attach the TV mount to that.
If you really can’t find any studs, cut and mount a piece of 3/4” or larger plywood the span of the studs at the height of the TV and attach the wall mount to that. Paint the plywood white or your wall color so it doesn’t stand out too much.
