ADA won't cover employment hiring UNTIL they offer you the job, so you can be discriminated against if you advertise your disability and let them know ahead of time. It's such a fucking wonderful thing to face as a cripple.
The ADA applies to hiring. Is your disability that you're consistently ignorant of basic aspects of the law?
It "applies to hiring" only in the sense that they have to cover their ass. You can openly state your disability, provide work arounds and work with them on finding answers for the "problems" in regards to accommodations for the job and they can turn you down/discriminate based on that.
You're fucking able-bodied, you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about while I do. I have been openly discriminated against because I don't disclose my disability (which gets me rejected right off the bat) until the interview process and state various workarounds only for them to rescind the job offer within an hour. Now, you could say it's because I "lied" on the job application and didn't bring it up: That could/would be valid. But I can meet all the criteria of the job process (bar 1-2 which I don't openly state at the time), apply. Get a 1-2 day turn around/interest. Bring my disability up and then wait 1 day to 1 week only for them to give me a "yeah, uh... we're going to pass."
I have had this happen to me with "EOE" employers. You have no fucking idea what you're talking about. Shut up.
