It is clear that things need to change in much of the industryin regards to crunch culture and so I will be carefully considering where my money is spent in order to support developers that do not rely oncrunch and avoid supporting ones who do.

Last of Us 2 will be the first of many games I am sure I will need to boycott. This will be my main deciding factor in purchasing games going forward.

Did Dangen get in over their head by taking on these deals? Yes it seems like they did and it seems like it’s something they should probably avoid in the future (if there even is one after this) until they have the experience and staffing to handle all the intracacies of them but that doesn’t suddenly mean it’s ok to rubber stamp abusive rhetoric. A messy issue indeed. I am against Naughty Dog's crunch culture, but this game is like, what, the first major AAA game to have a gay protagonist? And with an actual kiss onscreen? Naughty Dog's doing a lot of things wrong, but they're also doing many things right. I know this game will sell gangbusters regardless of this boycott, so I don't know what the most effective way to make our voices heard would be. i went for anxiety and to check a lump (just a fat ball do to weightloss) and the doctor was asking me all these questions and she kept recommending i do this and that like seeing a dentist since i havent been in a very long time, getting a bunch of shots, etc. i left with the shots since they are whatever but this really annoyed me. for context im young and never go to the doctor. ive only really gone in recent years for anxiety . i just didnt like feeling like i was being told to spend money i dont have on all sorts of shit especially when im going to be kicked off my insurance in a couple months and am broke ass shit. i get that i may be behind on somethings but its cause im poor and cant afford it even with insurance. also they made me fill out a depression assessment for some reason even tho i went for anxiety which made me uncomfortable.
