We're using Teams and it's come in pretty handy. There's probably better out there but it works for what we need it to do. Our field people are using Google Duo for video chats with patients and such because it's easy to get outside people on it and that's working well too.

Pretty sure MS is killing Skype for Business soon anyway. Should have been given the axe long ago.

From talking with various people now dipping their toes into e-learning and such the bandwidth is not the problem.
They just don't get that a 'free version' of some e-learning platform with their shitty WiFi connection using the cheapest plan from the worst ISP won't work well when you host a seminar for 50 people.

All the articles detailing this Netflix thing also point out that only a very few people have the 4K plan and most are on the HD plan, so no one will notice it.

The only annoyance I have with this is that I’ve not seen any news whatsoever yet that says there has been any issues with the internet infrastructure anywhere in Europe. If there was then I’d be behind this 100% and happy to “sacrifice”. As it stands it feels a bit premature and over the top and yeah, the one thing I plan on doing if work gets called off is to enjoy some streaming shows. Most of us will.
