I don't think that's actually true, but even if it was, graham linehan was in an ongoing and sustained flame war on twitter, and was frequently the instigator and aggressor as often as he was the target.

JKR has consistently been the target of a vitriolic mob, and their ire has frequently been attracted not by things she has done, or comments she has directly made, but just news about her.

What, if anything, are CD Projekt Red trying to do here? If it's to reflect our own world they've failed because even 2020 advertising manages to be more diverse than this. i feel like americans problems with the police should not extrapolated as a general feeling against them in games honestly... in civiliced countries people respect the police for what they do... (and usually we dont feel the need of carrying guns for protection)

we could argue that this is set in america but... is not a good example honestly, if instead of fighting the corruption or those practices the focus is shifted towards the police as a whole.
(and it should be something that actually that movement should try to improve.... people need the police, they just need it to work as intended instead of what they have now)
