I've been playing the games for 20 years now; narrowing things down to a sentence is improbable.

But playing the games for 20 years has afforded me knowledge of the gameplay mechanics, the control scheme, how those mechanics utilize those control schemes as well as those controllers, and how no controller currently on the market is well suited to take full advantage of the controls and the control scheme without adding additional button presses and holds into the mix.

With the amount of studios they have now, what if they switch it up and start buying up IPs instead?

And then completely out of nowhere an NPC turns enters the conversation and pretty much says that she was gang raped and one of the youths is going to get revenge.

This came out of nowhere. Imagine this dialogue popped up in Skyrim or a Tales game. It would be as jarring.

I just turned the game off in shock.

IF gaming companies were to act in good faith and take the extra 10 dollars that EVERYONE (or at least early adopters) has to pay upfront and invest it properly, a lot of the current, most skeezy ways they've attempted to bleed money out from us (microtransactions, the crapton of different editions each game launches with, post-launch DLC that they were probably able to include in the initial release) would go the way of the dodo. Additionally, the extra revenue could potentially be used to either hire more staff or pay current employees more; we all know how poor working conditions are at a lot of studios nowadays.

If you need extra storage, buy a cheap external drive, store your XSX games on it, and move them over to the main SSD when you want to play them.

I've got two 1tb SSD's pretty much packed with games on my PC.

And my 8tb External on my PS4 is almost full as well.

I have a full time job which was deemed essential at the start of covid so I only got 2 weeks off. I am lucky to play an hour every night.

I have a 1TB Samsung 970 nvme SSD
A 1TB WD Green SATA SSD
A 2TB WD Blue SATA SSD
And 8TB across 4 usb HDDs for backups and movies/music.

I just like being able to play my games at anytime. Still have a few hundred GBs free for new stuff.

buying those new-gen consoles at launch makes us an easy target for rebuying a game that we already have.
Or subscribing to a subscription service just to replay a game that I already have.
