The RTX 3000-series! Allegedly RAM shortages are the culprit and the insane demand and not enough supply plus the situation regarding COVID-19. Now that MSI HQ has burned down, that won't help matters either
Samsung also seems to have low yields with their 8nm process. So Nvidia wants to move to 7nm next year at TSMC

The expectation as far as stock goes for the coming months is:
Ryzen 3 -> Xbox Series X -> PlayStation 5 -> RTX 3000

But Sony could surprise as they do a lot of stuff in house and MS is more reliant on other suppliers.
For now PS5 demand also far exceeds XSX demand. With that said, PC gamers are looking at XSX because GPU's are hard to find.

I also feel like retailers didn't order enough of all this stuff thinking COVID-19 would mean less interest or money to spend. Idiots.

From what I gathered, some retailers are looking to boost their cash flow due to COVID-19 so they're capping and staggering their monthly orders to lower costs,
while already charging the consumers for a spot in the queue knowing that they likely won't cancel if demand is this high.
Some also took way more pre-orders than they could deliver again hoping to make more money.

For example, there's a store I know that took 500 pre-orders for the 5900X, while they only ordered 10 from AMD for launch.
Netting a whooping 300k in the process as a short term loan if you will. Now they've upped the prices because demand is higher (from 539 to 599) for new orders.
So the orders they're taking now and won't be delivered for a while are paying for the orders they're currently placing at AMD.

All those times the order buttons were disabled on shops and they reopened again they were simply taking back orders with no guarantee of delivery and COVID-19 allows them to blame it on supply, delivery etc. .

There's nothing wrong with casting a historically white character as a minority or women if their race/gender never made a difference. So a black james bond? Why not? A woman 007? Sure.

It gets a little weird when you do something like a reboot of a story in medievel england and you have a bunch of minority and women knights. I'd much rather you make a story that takes place in the middle east or Africa or south america with the proper representation there.


However there is an arguement to be said that existing IP's are powerful so it can be nice to get better representation and have that reach a bigger audience. IE its easier to make a black woman 007 than it is to make a new movie franchise about a black woman spy.

The title may sound crazy at first, but it's actually something I was thinking about the past few days about what type of Conservative beliefs have been attacked by mainstream media or academia.

Consider that progressives have gone out of their way to defend Islam, wealth inequality, open borders, defunding the police etc as all things society must learn to embrace and if you oppose those ideas, it's only because of "hate".

However, Feminism actually appears to be exempt from this list. It is possible to criticize the idea that Men & Woman are not the same. We are somehow different. And yet, I've never seen the reaction that saying believing the two genders to be distinct doesn't put you on the same level as genocide or a Neo-Nazi.

This also applies to other gender sensitive topics. For example, abortion is a widely hailed feminist belief. A woman must be allowed to terminate an unborn child and then it's "my body my choice".

But if someone wanted to oppose this idea, being against anti-abortion doesn't automatically qualify you for being a supremacist. In some ways, it's even possible to sympathize with someone to take this right away from women, because they believe abortion is actually murder, or that abortion is harmful to society (i.e abortion disproportionately lowers the number of Black Americans being born today).

Again, I know people think this sounds completely crazy, and that Feminism is actually held to a high standard, but what I'm quickly discovering is that it's also one of the most vulnerable progressive belief.

Progressives or Liberalism have made a career telling us that our current society is "flawed" and it's often due to unfair history or "systematic prejudice" and the only solution is to of course get the government, to get the media, to get all the academic institutions to indoctrinate our children by forcing it on them to make us all equal.

But the fact that I can stand here today and tell you that men and woman could possibly be different, and it doesn't lead to the idea of outright disgust but rather an actual public discourse or even sympathy for my beliefs, should scream right away "wait, but I was told everyone must be equal and it's only because of systematic discrimination why it's not".
