I don't understand the endgame here.

At some point, everyone has got to sell these ridiculously overpriced shares and the price will return to normal in the single digits.

Is it just to exact some revenge on the hedge funds and to point out the ridiculousness of short selling? Is there a play here where people are going to decide to make money?

Say ape has 10 banana's in GME that he bought for 1 peanut each. Ape has invested 10 peanuts.

Now 1 banana is worth 1000 peanuts. Ape has 10000 virtual peanuts.
Ape sells 2 bananas for 2000 peanuts, 3 bananas at 400 peanuts, 2 banana's at 20 peanuts etc..

Ape makes ~2500 peanuts profit on his 10 peanuts investment.

Could Ape have made 10k peanuts profit? Yes. But Ape has autism and hates snake so losing 7500 peanuts does nothing to Ape

Can't wait to see the posts in a few months where people have tons of Gamestop stock they paid $400 a pop for that isn't worth jack. :whew

Thats the beauty of this all. Worst case scenario, we are left owning a portion of the premiere video game retailer in the US.

Heads we win, tails they lose.

Power to the player baby.

A tiny West Australian mining company has been caught up in the investing craze surrounding US company GameStop thanks to its ASX code matching that of the American video game retailer.

GME Resources, which is listed on the local bourse with a market capitalisation of just $40 million, is a mining company focused on nickel and cobalt extraction. On Thursday, its shares soared more than 50 per cent to 12 cents, their highest level since 2018, with volumes of nearly $7 million.

I sold all my crypto a while ago. So there's like 0.00001 etherium in that account or something.
Still, I don't feel like doing all the ID checks again so I want to keep using this account.

If the doge app is on your phone, it's likely limited by the platform-holder's limitations on payment for digital content, the same way you can't order ebooks and audiobooks through the Amazon app, but /can/ if you access it through the phone's web-browser. I'm guessing your doge app is just for monitoring existing/purchased assets.
