Trying to find it, but there was a thread on Twitter a few days ago by a guy who does training seminars for local police on how to deal with terrorism/active shooting situations. He said over the last few years cops have been telling him antifa is their primary concern in that department, and when he'd ask them to name the major attacks caused by antifa they'd be stumped (contrasted with white supremacist and Islamic mass killings).

Also, has to be awesome to decide you need to put barriers in front of your place of worship because someone might try to ram a vehicle into it, then the president tells everyone that those barriers are signs of subversive, anti-American activity.

The attacks on press is really the wildest part to me. There's no way for them to defend or deny it, attacking the press is a line that usually doesn't even get crossed in official war zones. There's nothing to gain for police attacking the press other than a show of power, which just reinforces why there are protests in the first place.

They also have nothing to gain for attacking the press either.

The press normally might give police good publicity in normal times. That relationship will be tense going forward.
