Anyways, that tweet presents a false dichotomy. You can believe that climate change is real but the current technological pace we are on to offset it is good enough. The progress/understanding we've made in 60 year (actual boomers) and 40 year timelines is pretty incredible. So, if you've lived it and seen it, then you don't see the need to fundamentally disrupt our way of life in a 10-12 year window. These theoretical "tipping points" that get predicted then pushed back every decade is what people like me are averse to.
It's a lie to say "nothing is being done". Trillions of dollars, millions of man-hours and a huge pile of private money is being spent every year towards global warming / green energy projects. It only grows every year.
