But that's not really a Trump administration thing, more like a government thing.

The Abu Ghraib report was like: "Wow we have some structural problems here" and all Bush did was a photo-op with Condi.
With Obama not much different on the subject of the Iran nuclear deal, ISIS, Clinton's emails and in general 'leading from behind' but also Fast & Furious.
Way back when the DOJ and especially the NY FBI leaked everything to Rudy for reasons. I also got the sense that Barr more than anything was covering for the DOJ/FBI and everyone else down the line and not so much Trump. Especially when it came to family friend Epstein.

There was another recent incident where the Dutch defense minister posted a picture of her laptop while zoomin with basically the entire European NATO command.
And a journo typed in the URL and guessed the final password character that was obscured and suddenly found himself in the middle of a classified briefing.

There's of course also the stories about how journalists would be dining somewhere and a random Trump administration official or just a friend would approach them to say the President wanted to speak with them and they got handed a phone with Trump on the line to comment about something they had written.
And for a whlie you could also simply dial Kushner on Airforce One who would pass his phone to Trump in case you wanted to speak with him.
