Florida was done counting in 5 minutes. If only they had counted the votes and stopped counting the votes Trump would've won with 400+ electoral votes

If you don't listen to the tapes and instead listen to Trump, it seems reasonable.

It seems to me that the few sane people left in the White House try to channel Trump's anger and conspiracies by arranging these phone calls for him so he can rant and rave and they can 'circle back', 'compare data', 'look at it' without actually doing anything.
On the 1 hour call it was just Trump ranting for 45 minutes and Brad rebuking him and in the end Meadows chimed in with some 'circle back - compare data' nonsense.

Brad said they had already done all that and didn't want to play along but then Meadows repeated the exact same thing again (with different words) and Brad got the message this was their way out of the call and agreed to do basically nothing.
And then Trump said something like "This all needs to go faster, we can't keep wasting time like this Mark". Pointing at the fact that Meadows has tried to make other such arrangements in the past.

Anyhow, Trump was not used to being told the truth, that much was clear. He said to Brad: 5000 dead people voted and Brad said: "That was actually 2"... and then Trump immediatly grilled his aides: "Only 2? Is that true?" ... "Well our data sample is incomplete so if Brad can circle back with the complete data set than we compare the numbers blah blah"

In any case, Trump seems to have entered the bargaining phase and his aides are stalling for time.

That is, Trump has been openly abusing power and crimeing for 4 years now in pretty much this exact same manner. Even the GOP seem caught on their back foot when a day ago they would've gladly voted to overturn the election for this same shit head. I don't see how this call suddenly reframes that?

Probably has to do with the Georgia run offs. I just read that both parties combined spend ~$800 million on it making it the the most expensive run off election.
Guess that the blue team figures that if they take Georgia and Arizona off the board for the GOP the map becomes increasingly difficult for them and all the resources spend on Florida and all those local races were for nothing.

Trump losing the state either means the GOP base is fired up this time to keep it red or the Trumpers stay home because he's not on the ballot and the whole thing is rigged anyway and that's exactly what Trump's surrogates like Linn Wood have been telling those people
