Third, the article in question calls into question media from Ted Lasso to Coda to Abbot Elementary. Part of it is how fans of, in his words, “nicecore” entertainment are insulting if not hostile towards anybody who disagrees. Seeing how the immediate reaction was to search his Twitter history for slip ups, well. A direct quote from the article,
There’s a sour irony to watching as dozens of strangers championing the virtues of goodwill chew you out in language generally reserved for baseball game bleachers.
