I generally don’t like fear mongering. But bluntly, I don’t trust the Russians to control anything remotely Nuclear whatsoever. Logically, my brain is telling me they are wishing to hold onto it to control the power to the region. That is my thought as to why it is being contested. An administration building on fire does not exactly inspire one with confidence that the Russians are being what one might consider to be cautious however.

In general, Protocol 1 covers rules that not all nations agree upon, or choose to interpret loosely. But the core of it remains. The objective concerned should not, as a result of being damaged, cause harm to the civilian population.



Regardless, not all nations are going to even care about this. Russia especially, given the attacks that have killed so many civilians.

Why do people keep telling other people to calm down, it feels like gatekeeping concern at this point. It's okay for people to be concerned, it's okay for people to feel anxiety, we should be supportive of that rather than berating people feeling badly telling them to just stop.

Nobody should to speaking to someone else they believe is in a mental health crisis with that kind of authority.

First time I cooked chicken for my wife she stopped me and asked if I was going to "wash" it, I told her that's ridiculous and that you don't need to wash meats before cooking them, and she was flabbergasted. I showed her the CDC stuff saying it's actually dangerous to wash your chicken but she still insists its filthy and that white people are gross lol

(Note: As of now she doesn't wash ground beef anymore [yes, that's a thing] but she still washes chicken sometimes)
