On the base concept of just writing the word off, I kind of get it. There've been a few times people tossed "cunt" at me specifically because the lower-tier gendered insults didn't get a reaction, and in certain circumstances it really is people just trying to be as vile as they can possible be since it's the Worst Word. I get deciding that dealing with trying to divine intent and the context in which each user is using it is probably a fucking nightmare and it's probably easier to just tell people to pick other, more creative insults.
But then you don't come out with an absurd policy that triples down on intent and context for moderation. Women don't, in fact, need to be able to call people cunts on a video game message board to reclaim it. It's absurd to expect every woman on Era to self-identify in advance so that mods know which level of moderation they deserve, and doubly so because it'll mean any time anyone quotes you with a 'he' pronoun some other jackass is going to pop in to shove your pronouns down their throat even if you don't care. If it's a word that it's not okay to call someone, just make it equally unokay to call everyone. Don't continue to give the insult power as some grave unknowable against women.
