Powered stayed on, but we are buried in ice.  It's 10:47 and three people still haven't managed to free my stepfather's car from the driveway.  It's starting to get wet, which sucks, because it's going to freeze all over again!

It was sleeting here for hours. I was debating not even shovellng again, as it seemed to be doing a good job of getting rid of the snow for me.

Now it's snowing again really hard.

I had no boots, me being a California boy and all, so I couldn't help shovel.  So it was demanded that I made hot drinks.  I threw some coffee beans into the maker, a very strenuous task and made coffee.  They were like, "WE WANT HOT COCOA!"

Yeah the roads here in NY are pretty nasty.  I made it in to work ok but it's been sleeting all morning and is supposed to continue into the evening.  We'll have to watch the weather just in case we need to leave early (which would be nice so I could chill with mah boo  :-*).
