OHMSS IS the best novel, thats for damn sure. It would be nice if all the novels would be adapted some day. They've used all of the names so far, minus some of the short stories, but in reality, in more than half the cases, they've used the names and totally ignored Fleming's stories. Bastards.
Also, you can't put unofficial Bond flicks in yer lists you bums!
If we're ranking Bonds, for me its:
Connery > Dalton > Brosnan > Lazenby > Moore
- Connery was the coolest motherfucker on the planet (most of which is owed to Terence Young, the "real" Bond), suave, sexy and sophisticated, yet still rugged and coldly efficient (you actually believed that he could have any woman he wanted, yet also manage to save the world simultaneously)
- Dalton was the closest to Fleming's Bond, flawed and ruthless
- Brosnan wasn't a unique Bond, but rather a bland mixture of the previous actors' interpretations
- Lazenby had the presence and physicality, he would have been a great Bond had he done more movies
- Moore was a geriatric jokester, non-threatening and non-sexual, like watching your grandfather play Bond (and that kung-fu, yeesh)
