The buzz on this is good, and I told a friend of mine that had a small role in the film I'd buy a ticket to support his career, so I'm looking forward to it. This is probably as guarded and controlling Fincher has ever been with a project.

Looks interesting. Se7en was a great movie, and could have been awesome if Brad Pitt wasn't in it.

This pretty much goes against everything that's come out of this project. Again, like I said, Fincher is so protective and being a perfectionist about this project that the delays are not suprising.

I saw a treailer before Clerks 2. It looked good, but the trailer didn't convey The Fincher Feeling to me like his best movies have. I'm talkin bout Fight Club, The Game, and Se7en. None of them are perfect, but they all have a sort of manic dark electricity to them.

I dunno, after Panic Room, I'm having a bit of trouble getting totally excited for a Fincher movie again.

I don't know why Panic Room gets so much hate. Sure, its no Seven or Fight Club, but it was a hell of a lot better than most action/thrillers released by studios.

Aliens is a great action movie, but as far as the tone of the original goes - a tight suspense movie in a claustrophobic, closed environment - 3 does it better than 2. Don't get me wrong, Aliens is a fantastic movie, and 3 is messy and fairly mediocre, but 3 is still the better Alien movie.

No way. The tone shifts in Aliens, and it is different than Alien, but I don't see how Alien 3 could be a better Alien movie when you admit yourself that it's messy and mediocre. Aliens is the better Alien movie. Why? Because it has Aliens and it rocks.

Never felt the Fight Club love. Its a well made film, but I dont think it holds much weight beyond the 18-22 angry male crowd. I enjoyed it quite a bit when it came out, and I fell into that demographic, but revisiting the movie at my old age of 24, it all feels ridiculous.

a few thoughts... a very good movie kind of long winded and slow at times... but very good...

my only problem... when zodiac kills(or attempts in the case of the male) the couple at the lake... it is a very well made scene and very accurate... except one part... the male victim just before the attack told zodiac "i cant stand to see her stabbed, stab me first." to which zodiac replied "ill do just that" other than that i have no complaints about the movie...
