Looks alright, better than Resistance. I don't understand what the scunts are raving about, but it certainly doesn't look bad. I don't really give a shit what the source material is; Insomniac has always been straight about their stuff, and they make good to great games, hopefully this one is a bit less restrained and by the numbers than the first one.

Is it true that they are implementing a cover system? That'd be a huge step in the right direction.

I doubt it. Sucker Punch kicks ass, and that warrants blind excitement over the newest game from the studio. Sandbox superhero/villain gameplay from the dudes who have in the past created remarkably smooth looking and well written platformers filled with brilliant characters and settings? Hell yes.
