All the images in that thread are hosted there... Though the host website is pretty old and busted so it might just be that Mr. LeeRoy has a background in marketing that he's let fall by the wayside while he maintains the hosting.
If it was actual viral this would be awfully obvious.

m0dus is credited too, so I assume he did the graphics, though maybe it's a conspiracy with him, Bruce, and Evilore working together. Evilore was awfully hesitant to allow too much criticism of m0dus' redesign

m0dus seems like an OK guy though, if overenthusiastic and having some bad design tendencies sometimes.
Basch is credited also and he was on the front lines of the relentless Uncharted brigade, if memory serves.

The last time I saw this type of argument, one BenjaminBirdie made a royal ass out of himself by accusing someone who just so happened to be a good friend of mine in real life of somehow being part of a scheme to use the 360 RROD woes to gain advertising dollars. And for the record, if one was to look around my post history a few years back, one would probably find one or two game related images hosted on servers pointing to advertising and design companies, some of which I worked at, some of which I ran.

And really, this thing with accusing people of being paid shills, it comes a nudge too easy for some of you. Relax, at worst these are some very dedicated fanboys.

That was really never a problem for me. My work has never been based on hours spent at work, but the actual output. So in the past, I've been able to do anything except actual paid freelance work on company time, and on company servers. But it's been a while since I worked at a studio. This Globalstudios place doesn't exactly seem to be Burnett though.

I'm not going to make a call either way because there's really no way to know for sure, but I've posted in many of the same threads Bruce here has posted in, and I think he's just a genuine video game fan who happens to work in advertising. Primarily, then, on the Sony side of things, but marketing? I doubt that. If I ever got a wild hair up my ass to actually dedicate some time and effort on creating design and PR pieces for games that I really like, I'm sure it'd look insanely suspicious too.
