Spartan Laser isn't yellow, probably due to combo of lighting effects. Snow map is Avalanche, it's in the latest DLC pack and my favourite big map (the big mancannons leading to the flag base are awesome, especially with a warthog)
Very funny Halo 3 MP failings

I can't read because I was just banned for "various degrees of stupidity" apparently. Which is odd because we all know how intelligent half the members of GAF are.
My Arms Your Hearse SO3 doesn't even start until you're playing on a clear file. BTW, it only takes about ten hours to beat the game (that is, to obtain a clear file for that playthrough), a little more if you want to "grind" some levels out. Which is fantastically simple if you know how to do it. There are 2 or 3 spots where you can massively overlevel yourself with a minimum of effort.1) Duggus Forest. The area before the boss (and just after the last save point). There is a certain tree enemy... you always fight two trees, they are weaksauce, they give out massive exp for the trouble. They're far better than anything for the next few dungeons. Ridiculously easy to level into the mid 20s or so here and get everyone berserk.2) The little cave thing underneath the castle. Kill the big mudman thing in the room before the boss over and over again. Get Nel to 35 for Flying Guillotine. Proceed into Shrine of Kaddan3) Shrine of Kaddan. Room with the first save point. Use the ring to destroy the wall in the first part of this room. use this to quickly respawn the floating knight enemy. Proceed to rape the floating knight enemy with F.G. over and over and over. You'll make a crapload of cash and can EASILY get into the 50s within 1-1.5 hours if you fight constantly. This is pretty much the only grinding you'll ever have to do unless you want level 255. And, it's maybe 3 hours total, and not necessary at all. The reason you're having problems on disc 2 is that you are BAD. It's a good thing you didn't stick around for the bonus dungeons...4) Well, I might as well throw this one too. Same place as 2), just after the enemies are swapped (you'll know the point). Kill the Blood Monster thing over and over and you'll easily be set for the final dungeon (again, 30 minutes of repeat killing will skyrocket your levels). 4b) Enemy right before final save point. Not that great for levels, but I highly suggest farming it for the massive amounts of money it gives out. Over 100k with 2x fol. Gives you a good start on your IC for the bonus dungeons (if you bother with IC).And there is a REASON you get your characters at level 1 (Peppita, Sophia, some are not level 1), and why they don't get experience. It has to do with Battle Trophies, and also with various challenges you can set up for yourself. Having to keep characters DEAD is a real pain. Also, it is INCREDIBLY easy to level them up. I mean, it couldn't be more clear you have no idea how the game works, which you've already admitted by stating you didn't even finish the story arcBy the way, even at level 1, if you buy her water-attack shoes, Peppita RAPES the enemies on moonbase... machines are weak to water. Peppita is a powerhouse, and if you have a good method to take down the spider-tank things, you can easily power her up into the 70s with no effort at all and make gobs and gobs of cash.I'm not sure what you even mean by "lots of 'no turning back' points." There is NO point in the game which is "no turning back" unless you mean in your selection of certain characters to go on with. There are some section of the game where you are stuck in a dungeon/area, but nothing like a traditional point of no return, and even after you beat the game, you can keep playing on the same file (in fact, lots of new options are unlocked - the whole reason to play to begin with).I'm sorry you're terrible at the game and expected it to be utterly devoid of strategy like most Tales games, but maybe you should work on improving your tactics - levels are one of the most worthless things in SO3. They only serve to give you access to certain Battle Skills. If you keep doing dumb things it won't really matter what your hp/mp levels are, you're going to keep on dying. And even if the game required massive amounts of grinding, so what? Again, the allure of a game like this is the real-time battle system. SO3 has a really good one. You should WANT to fight a lotBut then, I'm one of those apparently weird people who could care less for the story in my RPGs and care much more about the gameplay aspects. Tri-ace are the lords of real-time RPG battle systems.I'm going to stop now though. Tales games are fun. I've spent lots and lots of hours on them. Abyss is a fantastic game. But S03 is much better, and it has always garnered way too much hate from GAF so I've always defended it.
Draft have my babies.
I will make it my goal in life to be one of the guys that gets to work under him.
