The only saving grace is that most 'adult' hobbies are pretty damned stupid, too, they just happen to be stupid in a socially acceptable way that our little hobby will never achieve.We all sit here and think that we are somehow more dignified by wailing on buttons pretending to be a spaceship commander instead of wearing a plastic helmet and making pshw pshw noises, but we aren't, and society certainly doesn't make a distinction. Fortunately I own no gaming systems or games. Other than a couple of gigs of emulators and roms that I never play.I don't agree in the binary approach to gaming. Some games I'd be embarrassed to play if my friends were over. Wii Music is one of them. Not just because it is on Wii either but because it sounds god awful. Not only that but the justifications for it being "good" have reached new lows. Wii Music now is a game that transcends music itself, if you read those GAF threads. All while having a track listing that sounds like something that would be played in the 1st grade with ancient MIDI.
