Creating those official megathreads is a pretty key moment in an undersexed nerd's life.  The thought that EviLore has put his trust in you, a 17 year old, to make the first post of a megathread is almost like that hot girl that gave you that disgusted look that one time is now asking you out to the prom!  To draw the banners for what will be a huge GAF thread is not unlike the fantasy of teaching those prick jocks that grabbed your fat man tits a lesson by beating their asses...all at once!

What a bunch of crap. What you "need" might well be hidden beneath the mass of every little piece of information and every little screen or preview ever released/published, which goes back to what I was saying about asking a basic question and being referred to the "OP."
Some of these threads contain more information than published guides. If they can't produce a nicely informative piece in less than 6 posts, then maybe that's something they should learn. I'm glad you like it, but I can't stand the incompetence.

The review focus was basically confirmed in the Uncharted thread. Someone threw a hissy fit after someone talked about a scenario in the game (used in marketing, no less), I asked what in the hell the thread is for if you can't talk about even the basics of the game, and he said that it was for discussing reviews. Because I read them, and they have become increasingly obnoxious to navigate. I don't care who makes the thread, and I don't believe in the shill stuff (although GhaleonEB may be the exception there), but the threads themselves annoy me. And that's just the OPs, add then the general attitude within the threads and they become generally hard to stomach.

No, I meant that I think the whole shill thing could seem more relevant there than it would for the typical fanboy official thread author. Hasn't he been to Bungie a few times, and gotten a ton of swag or being a good fanboy? Not that it really makes him a "shill;" I certainly like getting swag for things I'm a fan of, and if being a fan can make that happen, then more power to him. But between the thread author being the in the credits, and Mr Franchise Director himself trollspotting in the thread, it's a little bit funny.
