Okay, so, I think pretty much everyone knows by now that I acquired a multitude of Swiss candies from the lovely jarosh (

), and they arrived at my doorstep a few days ago. TVC suggested I review them, so I figured, what the hell, I'm bored and listening to music, so I'll give it a go.
So here's the picture of what I got.

Mmmmm
I actually haven't tried all of it yet (SHOCK, I know, especially coming from me). Buuut I don't have much else to do, so I'll at least review a few of them.
So anyway I guess I'll start with the candy, since everyone
knows that the chocolate is good. Actually fuck it, I'm just gonna go clockwise from top row in the picture.
Schnüre Erdbeergeschmack - I'm eating this right now. This has some bizarre German name, but really it's just licorice rope. Actually I just opened this one an hour ago. I really like licorice, so I was hyped for this. On the front of the package it proudly exclaims that there is 15 METERS of licorice-y goodness in there. That's 50 feet or half the length of a blue whale, for those of you who don't know the metric system or who happen to have seen a blue whale in real life.
As for how it tastes, it's really good. It's a little bit chewier and not as sweet as your Twizzlers. I've never had Red Vines so I can't really compare it to that. I was a little disappointed that the rope is cut up into about meter-long sections and isn't actually one continuous 15-meter long rope, but after really considering this, it's probably for the best. Otherwise I would have no stopping point and would end up with the equivalent of 50 feet of licorice rope in my stomach.
Spruso - Okay, I'm not a big fan of hard candy. At all. I never go to the store with the intent of picking up hard candy, and really the only ones I can typically tolerate in large doses are cinnamon disks. But these, wow. These are really fucking good, and are one of my favourite things I recieved, definitely my favourite of the candy items. In fact, as I type this, I only have one left. It's just sitting here staring at me, wanting me to eat it

But I'm trying to save it.
Anyway, these kinda taste citrusy, they come in 4 colours, pink, orange, green, and yellow. I guess the flavours themselves are nothing that remarkable. The best part is what's in the middle! It's this fizzy sour stuff that kinda seeps out as you suck on them. You can actually feel it fizzing on your tongue, it's awesome. Sooooo good. I gave one to my sister and she bit down on it without sucking on it at all. Well, all the filling came out at once and it was really sour and she made a pretty goddamn hilarious face. Owned. So yeah, these are really really good, and, uh, if you ever happen to have any, don't bite down on them!
Branche Classic - I was told what these are actually called, but I forgot. It was some crazy moon-word, unpronouncable in English. I prefer to just call them little pieces of heaven.
These really are so good I think it's actually a sin. It has to be. Basically, these are individually-wrapped tiny chocolate bars that have some sort of nuts (I'm gonna guess hazelnuts, I'm bad at this) sprinkled on the outside. There's 5 of them in the package and I actually gave one away which was the WORST DECISION OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I really wish I could go back in time and get it back. It's just this really soft chocolate that's so rich and smooth and melts in your mouth and oh man oh man...

I only have one left and I am actually afraid to eat it because I think I might commit murder to get my hands on more. THEY'RE THAT GOOD.
I don't even think I can describe in words how good these are. Fuck. They're so fucking good.
Okay this post is kinda long already, and I'm sorta sleepy because my belly is full of about 8 meters worth of licorice rope now. Mmmm. We'll see if anyone replies and maybe I'll post impressions of the other ones sometime tomorrow!
