Wahlberg is entirely unappreciated for his comic roles too. He's fucking hilarious in I <3 Huckabees, The Departed, and Boogie Nights.

I like Mark Wahlberg a ton. I agree he's kind of one note at picking roles, for the most part, though. I don't think many acotrs could have rebounded from being Marky Mark.

Rock Star was a horrible, horrible movie, but the end credits were pretty awesome. THe production crew blasted a terrible Marky Mark song and watched him squirm.

He's also the guy to blame/thank for Entourage, which I think most people would say is a good thing, at least at the outset.

Marky Mark has always been a real-life badass, btw. He blinded a guy when he was a teenager and ended up in juvie. Now that guy's still blind, but Marky Mark's an Oscar-nominated multimillionaire.
