I have, I predominantly a console gamer but also spent almost just about the same amount of time playing Computer FPS's.

There is a difference in having your wrist rested on a table/desk while moving your wrist to move the mouse around on a stable surface.

With the Wii, you have your arm in the air, pointing at your TV with nothing stabilizing it. There is a difference.

What I don't understand, is why they had to flip the entire game instead of just change the model to have link have the sword in the other hand...

Because a lot of puzzles were designed for the cube, and now that you have to actually use your hand to play the puzzles instead of universal buttons it was catered to the majority which are right handers.

I don't understand Dragona's problem at all or how the hard part for her is shaking the wiimote to swing, yet the other movements for her are easy.  It doesn't make sense to me, but there's no real point in continually pissing on her about it.  Nothing is going to change it seems.

No there's not. As someone who has spent a little over 40 hours with Zelda: TP wii can attest, it's just as intuitive and easy. Many Wii owners agree that the thing is by far and wide, way more relaxed than the typical and traditional game controller allowed. With the Wiimote, we play with our hands on the couch arms chilled out. My chair's arm keeps my right arm stabilized and I have the right hand (with wiimote in hand) hanging in the air at hours at a time. And I have no problems at all. If you don't have an arm on your chair, or you're not playing in a chair, you can easily make your leg something for your right arm balanced. The whole "you need to keep pointing at the tv with your arm all the way and/or completely swing your arm to get the game to register a sword swing" crap is nothing but claptrap and bullshit.
