uh, something is funny about Anihawk's "humor"? news to me, haven't found that guy funny or memorable after a couple years of reading his posts, only vaguely grumpy, got no idea at all of what his "style" is... then again GAF's standards for humor are lower than those of a 5 $ hooker

come to think of it, there's absolutely nothing even remotely funny or memorable about any poster that writes at GAF for the matter... at least voluntarily

it's been out for a week but i don't have it yet. i got the season 7 episodes through... other means. i couldn't wait. but i'm ordering it next week. in the meantime i've been watching curb season 5 and arrested development season 3. good stuff, particularly curb. however, nothing beats the sein.

GAF used to be influential when Gaming Age carried more weight as a fan-site in the industry. I think as the disconnect between the gaming site and the forum grows, you'll see less and less ACTUAL industry people there and more VIRAL MARKETERS cause god damn thats some stupid gaming conversation going on over there.

Well, due to the recent influx of new posters  (100% shitty), the board has become more about raw numbers (to increase the accidental click-throughs on aggressive banner ads) and less about content of the forum.


But hey, we all need to get paid at some point. Love for a hobby can only carry you so far.

Accounts are apparently approved in mere days now, whereas previously it could take months. The amount of junior members in gaming threads is quite stunning.

I know Evilore wants ad revenue and what not, but the gaming side has become AWFUL...seriously.  I really wouldn't mind a spring cleaning if you will to get out some of the awful awful trolls/posters.

I know I'm not the best poster by any means around there, but shit I'd love quality over quantity.  Though I guess when you do become as big as gaf the ad revenue really does warrant the bigger userbase/more clicks.

Still though that place has some of the best posters around, but you literally gotta dig to find them.
