That's more or less the point. The real hilarity here is not that's overwhelmingly racist, but that it has done a TERRIBLE job of being overwhelmingly racist.

And, I'd add, grow up. There are a lot of terrible race-based issues going on right now. Someone reaching down into Al Jolson's bag of tricks to dig up this horrible anachronism is hardly worth the time it takes to post an invective. Black face is so old, so terribly out of date, it's about as offensive as calling someone "colored" or "negro". It lacks any real punch because you end up looking more like Colnel Sanders than WHITE POWER D00D.

Funny, I see more black people putting on black face (through "entertainment" such as rap, movies, WAYNANS, etc) and insulting the race far more than anything whites a doing. I couldn't care less about some white kids dressing up like this for Halloween - I'm more insulting by the stereotypes being created, manufactured, and distrubted by black media.

A few weeks ago I asked to get my username changed. Since then I can't log on, with either my new or old username. I tried to get an e-mail sent to me and haven't gotten one! How do I contact an administrator over there to get this fixed?

They sent an email and politely asked, while pointing out that GAF was giving away their intellectual property for free.  Evilore then contacted the person and worked out an arrangement.  I don't see anything wrong with that. 

GAF got busted, and if they played the "We didn't know we were stealing your property card" it wouldn't have worked.  If a lawyer got called in, GAF would be screwed.  There's really nothing that could've been done to handle the situation, and I do think it's kinda cool that NPD has made some concessions, even if they are half-assed. 

We got busted with our hands in the cookie jar, that's that.

My problem with the NPD thing is EvilLore acting like this is some exclusive, awesome "deal". Fuck that, this is no different than what IGN has: just top ten sales. No more LTD sales; there's no way to find out how Viva Pinata sold this month for instance.

The idea of them getting lawyers involved over us looking at fucking numbers is a joke.

Meh, I have no problem with it.  NPD's whole business are those numbers.  If everything was free, they would have no business.  It's the same as scanning magazine's IMO.  If you're truly that interested, you'll pay the price for the numbers or deal with the "gimped" version.

Most people only care about hardware numbers and top ten software anyways. NPD didn't have to do anything.  They could have told GAF to ban the numbers or else.  It was actually very considerate of them.  

Not to mention, if you really want the numbers that badly, just go to OA.  :p

NPD's existance is not threatened by these numbers. Industry insiders don't go to GAF to get that shit - they go to the NPD. So this is not hurting them like scanning a mag might.

More elitist GAF bullshit oh well. The numbers are on OA, and if Bunkum grows tired of that place he can come here.
