I you look closely at all the notable characters in the trailer, they all have distinctive things about then. One has the single slice down over the eyebrow, another person has a pencil on his ear, theres a girl with what looks look like herpy ridden lips

etc. Rockstar has alway been great and creating a great environment with subtle things.

Rockstar is one of my favorite Developers this gen.

and the game itself seems fresh, GTA style but without the Mafioso/Gangster vibe. Almost like GTA: Breakfast Club

Pretty funny - yet graphically ugly - looking game. To tell the truth, I have never been a fan of GTA or Rockstar in general. It pains me when I'm forced to defend GTA to videogame hating idiots. There's so much cool stuff going on in gaming, but we constantly are forced to talk about GTA or hot coffe or whatever. And I'm even more pissed at sites and magazines who have the balls to give these games perfect scores. The game isn't perfect, period. Whether it's aiming or boring missions...

But alas, Bully looks pretty cool. The GI article really got me interested.

GTA3 was the first and last GTA I played to completion. Vice City sucked (if it wasn't for the 80's soundtrack it wouldn't have sold as many copies), San Andreas starts out as an awesome game but it's too long imo...

I find GTA games fun, very fun. But they aren't great games, not even good ones either. They are brainless and very weak and amatureish in game design. While they are fun it would be a insult to the RE4's, SotC's, and Zelda's of the world to call GTA games great games.

Hell i only like VC cause of the damn soundtrack and even sa more cause of the soundtrack. But i hate how long SA is its too fucking long. I couldnt even get to the Las Vegas area i was freaking tired of the game by the time i was done with SF.

I got out to the rural areas in SA (really enjoyed the game all the way up to this point)... then to that other city (started to get really redundant). So that would be the third big area in the game... so whatever that is. I was reaching the end, but I still stopped, wasn't worth it. The last mission I did in SA was having to face off against a bunch of guys in a building in the middle of the city that was pretty torn apart. Yeah, sounds pretty undetailed, but that's all I can remember, lolz

I just got tired of it.

Well on top of the game being too long if you wanted to keep your gang going you'd have to always go back to LA which sucked cause i was trying to micromanage everything in the game when i played it. I had to learn to stop doing that.

SA is a broken game but at the sametime one of the coolest games cause it acurately brought me back into the early 90's.

SA's soundtrack was meh actually. The one rap station is good, the talk stations are hilarious. The alternative rock station could have been much much better and the rest of the stations are easily forgettable.

So I will actually go out on a limb and defend the gameplay because it felt more like a game. Whereas Vice City was stroking it to the 80's

Rockstar always manages to throw in awesome references in all of the modern GTA games, plus they made the Warriors game not suck. That gives them a check plus in my book.

I like the GTA games in *concept* but the janky AI and mission scripting always overwhelms the sandbox fun. Nothing worse than taking a mission only to see four cop cars magically teleport behind you and then get stuck on a lamp post. No thanks!

Really, most sandbox games bore me within 30 minutes, right about the time I've beat my fifteenth grandma to death and the novelty has worn off. Fuck immersion.

I've always said the charm of the GTA series is the way they manage to cram so many hilarious references and create the "feel" of the era in the games, not the gameplay itself. I'd rather play San Andreas to marvel at the scenery, laugh at the digs to films like Boyz N Da Hood, and appreciate the joke characters and equally hilarious radio personalities. I could drive around for hours in GTA III listening to the Lazlow Show

I never beat San Andreas, but that's because after a while I moved on to other games on my backlog. Then I sold my games/consoles, and never got to finish SA. $:-\$

Come to think of it, the farthest I got was one or two levels in the Las Vegas clone. Bummer...

When I first picked up a small child with my katamari, I was hooked.
