They had better fix the boring, shoddy, ropey as fuck gameplay (missions lolz) this time. They have had like literally 7 years to sort their shit out. When the main reason to play a game is the soundtrack, shit is seriously fucked up.

SA is hardly about "hip hop trash" ruzbeh. Only ignorant cunts and/or racists bring up the hip hop or gangsta stuff, and the thing about it is that the game outright trashes the culture as much as it glorifies it. Once you get out of Los Santos, there's really zero gangsta stuff in there.

And theres way more than Hip Hop/Rap on the soundtrack too: theres heaps of top quality R&B, New Jack Swing, Funk, Rock and House. IMO its the best licensed soundtrack ever compiled.

The country station is amazing. Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty? God yes. And the classic rock one is incredible too - they could have used any Bowie song, and they used Somebody Up There? Man, those guys are sharp.

I'm looking forward to this too. I'd be fascinated to see the traffic stats for the GTA site tomorrow - it's going to be huuuuuuuge.

Not a fan of the series, due to hating the controls and the missions (for a game that prides itself on being so "free roaming", a lot of the missions are pretty trial-and-error and force you into using certain weapons and cars), but I'm still curious to see what city the game will take place in, and I'm always hyped over the games' soundtracks.

I don´t like GTA. I think is overrated. People credit the series for creating the sandbox, when in reality the sandbox existed way before GTA even existed. Elder Scrolls is a free roaming, and that game was launched in 1994. Hell, the first time I heard the world "sandbox" was when journalists where trying to describe Ocarina of Time.

But anyway, I am looking forward to the trailer. I REALLY want this game to be Xbox 360 exclusive, but not because I want to play it. I just want to the bitter tears, the anger, and the meltdowns. Just like Dragon Quest IX, Virtua Fighter 5 and Devil May Cry 4.

Well, people don't say that GTA created sandbox unless they're dumbasses. It did, however, help POPULARIZE it.

Sandbox games have been around for ages. Pirates! came out in the damn 80's. It's just that after GTAIII's release, *a lot* of games have placed more emphasis on freedom, even games where we thought we'd never see such freedom take place (SSX3).
