Viz has been promoted to a technical administrator and will be working with us to bring forum software up-to-date and hopefully fix any reoccurring issues with the forum. He also will be assisting in overhauling the front page after his recent success with Mupepe's site. We're hoping it'll make it more user friendly to Google guests and random fellows, and also because I'm making a play to partner the site with another one to get us a previously untapped reader base for the Gaming Forum. We'll be instituting a few new things that we'll be discussing in the near future.

Considering my personal workload and cloudwalking's infatuation with jarosh, I ask that if you feel the two of us are not answering you promptly... you can talk to Viz.

When the front page is done, I'd also like to see user supported content for stuff they're passionate about and stuff that's niche. Cheebs can do DVDs, Solo can do cinema, MAF can do his random grab bag, Drinky really wants to do a podcast, whiteACID can give relationship advice, etc.

We're not merging with any one site. I am discussing to serve as the independent community provider to another site, because although we're small, we are active and I think we can foster somewhat unique gaming discussion here. It's up to users more than anything. As soon as people start posting sales data and start console pissing contests, we lose that. I don't want to make this place expand too fast. I like the way we're going and I think we make some good moves in correcting some of our posters.

Viz is not a moderator. In fact, he has no moderator powers. He can do a few things that users cannot, but he can't ban or lock topics or modify posts. He does have access to the back end of the forum and server, though.
