I would highly suggest pictures, videos, flirting to prove she's lesbian because pretty much anybody gets sent to iraq. Even recruiters at my school. And they were short.

She's aware the very real possibility of getting sent to Iraq; it's war time and by enlisting in the Army, it goes without saying. She's prepared for that and she will go where ever she is stationed. We can only hope she is not deployed there, and there's always a chance of that too. No matter where she goes, we'll support her.

I have the deepest respect for those who are willing to serve in the military; it gets a very bad rap due to the actions of a few, but we must never forget that the soldiers were not the ones who started this war on false pretences. They're the ones showing the true bravery and courage our leaders (on both aisles) fail to show

I went through this when my younger sister came back from basic. It was so weird, my tiny little sister came back with muscles and a dirty mouth. I honestly didn't know how to feel about the universe anymore.

Good luck, Rodi. My cousin was in the national guard for a few years, he was really worried he was going to get sent to Iraq (he has a wife and two young children, not the best situation for any of them). Luckily he wasn't, got his discharge, and is now a police officer.

I'm actually not ashamed to say that my reasons for joining are college money, adventure, travel, and training. There's the "I want to protect my country" part too, but I feel uncomfortable saying it and usually don't.
