Nevermind his slow thought process, his technique for racking the slide and clearing the stoppage is completely wrong!
You don't pinch the slide between your index finger and thumb and pull it back, you gotta palm the whole slide to rack it. Fine vs. gross motor skills, bitches!
i know, youre preaching to the choir
when you fail to fire its best to slap the bottom of the mag, rack the slide with you palm like you said to get a fresh round in (i think its a bad habit to then pull the trigger a couple times hoping for a bang from the same bullet), THEN try shooting, as quickly as possible EVERY time
if i wanted to critique everything itd take an essay, not like im some expert at all, im basically a beginner, i was just taught and trained from the get go by the living firearm search engine that is my cousin
before he took me out for the first time he told me to shoot for an hour at the gun club he belongs to the night before so i had a basis of what came naturally style wise, when we met there the next day he told me he couldnt help me because the grip i found was the most comfortable was too weird - i wrap my left index finger around the front of the trigger guard (middle part of the finger not just the tip), stack my thumbs on top of each other on the left side of the grip right on top of and parallel to the slide release, i release the magazine with my off hand thumb rather than the thumb of the hand thats gripping the stock (which i know sounds unintuitive from where i said i stack my thumbs, but its an easy quick swivel around to getting my palm under the mag and the thumb of the same hand on the release button), weird i know but it works for me
pansy.
i was just joking
