To be honest I haven't played the PS3 in awhile, but meh I'm bored of games in general for awihle, I'm guessing MGS 4 will put me back in

I don't like console gaming but I do see a lot of talk and numbers about it during the usual read of my daily gaming news. Sort of seems like the PS3 is squeezed between a Japanese market that doesn't care for the machine and a US market that's already shown that core gamers go crazy for buying games on the 360.

I don't see where the PS3 really goes from here. The machine's price point is hurting, but I think its issues are a bit more deeper than that, namely that the machine doesn't have any familiar or very interesting software yet, and those games are still mostly over a year off. I think even at the high cost people would buy the machine if it had cool games to play or if cool games were on the horizon.

I think Sony's pretty boned. It's sad, because I'd far rather see the Wii get curb stomped to irrelevance instead.

This gen on the whole has been pretty underwhelming so far. I don't know if it's just that the games suck or that I'm getting tired of gaming in general. I do know that considering the PS2's library, I could just skip next-gen altogether and still have games to play for the next five years or so.

I would pick up a 360 but I won't because I worry about the failure rate for the machine. I'm living overseas so it would be a huge pain to send it in for repairs.

So far, a new Heavenly Sword video has leaked onto YouTube, and screen shots of Folklore, Uncharted, Pain (new PSN title), Lair made their way out early. Lots more in 1 hour 40 minutes.

What I'm obviously saying is that even though 360's tend to break, it's line up makes it more than worth checking it out anyways. Especially when you consider that ps2's fucked up just as much.

Rachet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, and Uncharted all look great to me. Folklore looks like it might be good.

Pain looks like crap. Lair looks boring just like Factor 5's Star Wars games. I don't care for SOCOM or Warhawk. What other games were shown?

uncharted looks like fun, but i'm not fond of the jungle environment. i think it's because i never liked tomb raider. now, if it took place in an environment similar to indiana jones temple of doom, then i'd be all over it. looks like it'll be fun though

the delay is not confirmed afaik but i said assuming it comes out this year.

even if it does get delayed i wouldn't want to wait another extra 6 months.
