I don't support a withdrawl from Iraq until certain benchmarks are met. I think it would be morally unjust to leave a country in utter shambles after destroying it for unjust, unsound, and un-Constitutional reasons. Therefore I would like to see the country's infastructure repaired better than it was before we entered. We may not be able to police a civil war, but we can at least make sure the country's cities have electricity and running water. I would like to see the continued repairment of buildings and schools also.
I think this can be accomplished within the deadlines of all the proposed withdrawl points, such as March 2008. Yet until these benchmarks are met, I will refuse to endorse any withdrawl plans.
