i still think it's a pretty boring card game, having half of your card pool being playable by every color translate into seeing a lot of the same cards, there is lot of junk commons, and thanks to how the game works deck that focuses on beating down the opponent quickly are all the rage which is why this is the second time they've been changing unleash the hound in a desperate attempt to have games that last longer than 5 turns... seeing blizzard doing this nerfing dance every month or so instead of introducing new content and cards is also pretty annoying
the nice things about it are...
1) it's got amazing presentation with every card you play having a come into play quote, an attack quote, a dying quote and such...
2) with the rate you gain in game currency for free you can buy a card pack every 2 days which is a nice rate especialy considering you can only put 2 copies of a card in your deck at best so it feels like you can play the game even if you don't want to spend or spend as little as possible... not to mention they give you a huge pool of good starting cards to try different type of decks where another TCG would simply tell you to fuck off
3) thanks to the wonder of being a computer game instead of a TCG it features the sort of effect that would be hard to do with real cards... like there is a card that let you create copies of card your opponent plays, or a card that let you kill an opponent card and then summon a completly random unit
i wish they would finaly decide to launch hex to see if this whole F2P TCG can be done properly but they are still fucking around and not launching even after like a bajillion month from the projected date
