Konami is developing revivals of its Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, and Silent Hill franchises, according to a VGC report citing unnamed publishing sources.

The first of these revivals will reportedly be a new Castlevania game, described by sources as a “reimagining” of the series currently in development internally at Konami in Japan with support from external Japanese studios.

A Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater-centered remake project is also reportedly in development at Singapore-based studio Virtuos, while Konami also intends to release remastered versions of the original Metal Gear Solid games ahead of the remake.

They flopped so many of these genre cash-grabs.

I loved Wildlands, that was a good starting point to relaunch the series, it's sad to see them fuck it up with Breakpoint first and now this complete shameless piece of shit.

It even looks like it's reusing assets from those games, so it was probably a literal desperate cash grab.

I wanted to say that they really should add modern controls. But that would imply that the controls weren't already complete trash back in the day.  Either way, ray tracing and BTS aiming: do it.

Yeah i'm assuming San Andreas' soundtrack is getting butchered, if it hasn't already.

They did with GTAIV, where they removed, basically, all the most iconic tracks (not even sure if Radio Vladivostok is even there).

Twitch source code got leaked btw

An anonymous hacker claims to have leaked the entirety of Twitch, including its source code and user payout information.

The user posted a 125GB torrent link to 4chan on Wednesday, stating that the leak was intended to "foster more disruption and competition in the online video streaming space" because "their community is a disgusting toxic cesspool".

The leaked Twitch data reportedly includes:

The entirety of Twitch's source code with comment history "going back to its early beginnings"
Creator payout reports from 2019
Mobile, desktop and console Twitch clients
Proprietary SDKs and internal AWS services used by Twitch
"Every other property that Twitch owns" including IGDB and CurseForge
An unreleased Steam competitor, codenamed Vapor, from Amazon Game Studios
Twitch internal 'red teaming' tools (designed to improve security by having staff pretend to be hackers)
Some Twitter users have started making their way through the 125GB of information that has leaked, with one claiming that the torrent also includes encrypted passwords, and recommending that users enable two-factor authentication to be safe.

It depends on the station I think - the MSX FM (D&B station) and Rise FM (trance) had some 'real' artists.

Yeah, 4K textures and raytracing are a waste if they don’t upgrade the checkpoint system. I went back to Vice City Stories a few months back on PS2 and didn’t mind the crude controls and mission structure and frame rate but it felt like a waste of time because of how much of a nuisance it was to restart a failed mission. The primitive sandbox design would actually be quaint if it wasn’t for that.

I'm sure plenty of people are playing and the game will sell well.

I still have found it pretty mediocre and very much the opposite of what I want from a BF game. And at least at enthusiasts spots, it also dosen't seem to be getting the warmest reception.
