Went back to Gamestop and played some more. Because I knew the controls , I just started playing, but this time I played extremely well. After putting more time into that Excite Truck demo, it's definitely something to watch out for imo, as the game is fun as hell.
One main thing was different this time: the crowd. The first time I played, it was lunch time and no one was around. This time, it was night time, after school, and a lot of people who just walked by were interested enough to go in the store and watch. I garnered quite a crowd, and a lot of the people around me acted like they were going to snatch the damn remote from my hands.
"You play it side ways? AW SHIT IT'S AN NINTENDO OLD SCHOOL CONTROLLER!!!"
"This is something new! I'm going to check this out."
"The graphics are plain but it looks so fun!"
I was pretty surprised. I wonder what would happen if Nintendo had set up Wii sports along side Excite Truck.
