Complete Dawn of The Dead rip-off, done animu-style.  So huge tits, zombies, and school girls.  They even spend a bunch of time holed up in a mall!  The guy that does the art is a big hentai artist, so expect plenty of ass n' titties -human or zombie- on almost every page.

Hey Rumbler, do you know where I can find Cobra The Animation 04?  I'm seeing 05 popping up but can't find 04!

EDIT: Never mind, Crunchysubs rip is out.  Horriblesubs had 720P versions but stopped after 03, it seems.   :-\

This first episode really feels like a short but impressive feature film, complete with a big budget and a movie-sized plot. If it has any kinks in it, it's that it still falls into the "boy pilots father's giant robot" storyline that's been a staple of mecha anime for decades, even though initially it didn't look like it would go there. However, Gundam UC, at least with this initial approach, tackles that well-worn story with a little more nuance than we've seen before. Otherwise, it's a beautiful entry into the Gundam franchise thus far and a promising start for Universal Century fans.

Yo, somebody tell me what this Bakemonogatari is?
duckroll is saying it's about to become the highest selling/most popular anime in Japan on blu-ray in a few more releases when it outsells Eva.

Is this actually a great show?  You'd think if it was selling so much because of the usual otaku pandering or loli pervert shit it wouldn't have enough pull to outsell even Eva, so does that mean there's some real quality involved?  Should I watch the show?

I'm kind of in the same boat, Bebpo. I watched episode 1 when it first came around but it didn't really grab me. Now, it's grown into some huge monstrosity and everyone's talking about it like it's the next Eva or something.

I downloaded the Bluray rips, since the animation has been updated/fixed/completed, and I'm starting it again. It's...kind of otaku pandering [you know, like a tsundere character that REALIZES that she's tsundere], but it's more interesting than most other shows from the past year.

So any seen the DtB ova ep yet?

I watched it.  I wasn't a fan of the original DTB, but it was good enough to at least watch to completion and I skipped dtb2 because it looked distinguished mentally-challenged.  This oav was more of the same from dtb1-style except being short it was pretty rushed with not much story and generic lamo villains.  Still the animation was very solid and it was entertaining so I thought it was worth watching.  Will continue to watch the OAV since it should be short and I hardly watch anime anymore.

I don't know if anyone here reads D.Gray Man but the art book was recently released and it has some really good stuff in it. Makes me want to read the series from the start, I just skim the latest chapters because the art is so nice.

The movie/OVA section is hot stuff with Trigun, Gundam Unicorn, Eden of the East movie 2, Armored Trooper Votoms, King of Thorn, Breakblade, and Haruhi Suzumiya.

The series section doesn't look quite as hot though. Senkou no Night Raid, Yojou-han Shinwa Taikei, and Hakouki look interesting; Giant Killing and Arakawa look weird enough to be worth a watch; aaannnddd not much else.

An anime based on the Japanese occupation of China? Night Raid will surely be horribly offensive and xenophobic. :lol

Shinwa and Hakuouki look interesting, but in general, the TV shows look like a bunch of crap.

That's not all bad though, since movies and OVAs have bigger budgets and less useless filler.
