Thank you to duckman for keeping me up to speed on the one thing that matters on MSN. Final Fantasy XIII. I mean, I had no intention of buying a PS3 anyway, all a man needs is just one console, but the one game I would have missed would have been Final Fantasy. Oh well, not anymore!

Doesn't matter if it cames out day and date or even years later. It's not like I'm a day-one gamer anymore. I can wait.

Wow, that was a massively surprising announcement.  I'd imagine the game ended up just costing so damn much that SE really saw no reason NOT to release it on both platforms.

The only downside is that we'll have to put up with "superior version" BS (makin the initial purchase more difficult and annoying).  Hopefully they actually put a solid effort into both versions rather than introducing technical issues on both sides like most multiplatform games.
